Activities of the project monitor a long-term partners´ goal to institutionalize cooperation through joint efforts to establish a European grouping of territorial cooperation (EGTC) as a higher dimension of cooperation with high added value. The project partners have prepared a joint memorandum as an expression of political will to cooperate in establishing a new EGTC. Joint strategy will enable to define the strategic areas of cross-border cooperation, to identify barriers of their development and will propose solutions and a specific action plan for their implementation.
The project includes activities that contribute to the mutual partners´ recognition . This is a legal analysis of the hierarchy and competence of public administration in the Czech Republic and Poland , the system of the legislative process, the need for the development of the future EGTC (relevant tax, legal and industrial issues) or experience with the subsidy policy. This all is supported by mutual internship exchange of employees. One of the activities of the project is the provision of the joint secretariat of the project, which will be composed of partners' employees and will coordinate internships, expert and project team meetings, participate in development of a strategy, update the project website and implement some publicity activities. The secretariat members of some project partners will also act as project and financial managers of the project.
