An interesting view has always been provided by the Čáp (Stork) hill, the highest point of the Adršpach - Teplice Rocks, situated about 2 km west of the village of Skály (Roks). The peak itself can be reached following the green signs leading us among rock blocks, a sandstone rock gate will welcome us right under the peak and then we will climb to the bare rock top, which was chosen for the construction of a new timber lookout tower. In the 1950´s there used to stand a triangulation tower on the Čáp hill was realized within the project "Places of Many Views in the Euroregion Glacensis". The investor of the project was Branka generally beneficial society, and the project was co-financed by the European Union from the Operational Programme Over-Border Cooperation ČR - PR 2007 - 2013. With regard to the hardly accessible terrain, the individual parts of the lookout tower were transported and assembled by means of helicopter (in September 2014). The ceremonial opening of the lookout tower took place on 20th September 2014.
At good visibility, the two viewing platforms enable a view ingo all directions.
