Within the project "Places of Many Views in the Glacensis Euroregion", the partner of which is in this case Gmina Radków, a lookout tower called Suszynka was constructed about 5 km east of the Wambierzyce pilgrimage site above the village of Suszyna in 2014. The lookout tower was built of sandstone blocks of different sizes up to the hight of 27 m. Due to its shape, arrangement of windows, inner staircase along the walls and the advanced edge of the viewing platform, it reminds us of a watchtower of a fabulous medieval castle. The lookout tower provides a view of the Giant Mountains, Table Mountains, Broumov Walls, Orlické Mountains as well as the massif of Králický Sněžník. Due to the location of the lookout tower, the viewing platform offers its visitors absolutery untraditional views even of well-known mountain chains. It is good to have a map for orientation and indentification of the mountains that you are observing.
